The "1000 Year Flood" and its Impact Related to Medicine
Join us at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at the Palmetto Club for a Member Forum on the impact of the "1000 year flood" as it relates to medicine. Our speaker, Dr. Steve Shelton, serves as Medical Director for Emergency Management at Palmetto Health. Dr. Shelton is boarded in Emergency Medicine and subspecialty boarded in Emergency Medical Services. He is an attending physician in the Palmetto Health / University of South Carolina School of Medicine Emergency Medicine Residency Program. He benefits from experience in the Army National Guard, Urban Search and Rescue with SC Taskforce 1, and SWAT Tactical Emergency Medical Support for Richland County Sheriff’s Department.
